Merely by reading the introduction from the "look inside" feature, I can see that this book is very poorly written and does not deserve to see print. The author lacks the ability to write properly in English and has not taken the time to hire a professional copy editor. Do not waste your money here, there are at least hundred other well written books on the same subject.
Very small almost pamphlet like, was expecting a lot more. Expensive for what you are receiving.
Though small. It's an excellent book with good information. I would recommend it to anyone owning or contemplating owning a German Shepherd.
My brother in law recently has become promoted to a canine officer in his police department and was given his first partner (a German Shepherd named Jezbel). I purchased this German Shepherd book for him thinking it may help him in understanding the breed and training tips and ideas.
My brother in law could not thank me enough, he said that the author John Williams is a genius with the knowledge he has presented in this book. It has made a world of difference for him and the book is highly useful in so many areas. Since having so much success with his new partner he has told the rest of the canine department about John Williams German Shepherd Book.
